Thanks for the protein tip. I've noticed that as well. So now I try to be careful to incorporate protein in every meal and snack, and it does help a lot.

You can get headaches when you are not getting enough protein. I did Herbalife years ago after #2 baby, and found out that not enough protein gives massive headaches. (I'm sure the ephedra in their products also contributed)
To this day, if I start to getting a lot of headaches, I will reevaluate my diet. Sometimes sleep wins over food (not very often). I just make a more concentrated effort to get some protein in my diet.
You might check to see if this is true for you.
You can get protein easily by adding tofu to a smoothy. I will eat yogurt or if I have it in the house (usually I don't have any meat in the house) I will eat a lean piece of chicken.

I read once that, a little while after you've eaten and you still feel hungry, that is the time when your body is burning the most fat, that the hungry feeling isn't actually hunger, it's your body doing it's magic. If you can focus (and it definitely isn't easy to) on something else, like walking, you can kind of bypass the feeling of hunger when you're not actually truly truly hungry. Replacing a bad habit with a good habit, I guess. Oh, this is all so very Oprah.

I'm the same way, when I eat something, it rarely seems like enough. It's like, that feeling you get when you're stuffed full and satisfied.. it's addictive, I'm thinking.
